Duffy was excited he was going to his favourite cousins house for the school holidays. When Duffy got there he went to see Sam, Sam was Gaming magic bricks. Duffy said hi Sam was being obnoxious. the Duffy tried to give Sam a hi 5 but Sam didn't do it He said ive got a book about magic bricks Sam said why read when you can game.Sam got mad because the dismantiler was breaking her building and Sam started ragging like a rhino. And started fussing about it and moaning Duffy saw a photo of his Nana and said Kia ora Nana then Duffy started talking about her and he said Nana used to have have heaps of books I wish she was still here to keep me company and said want to read some books in moari Sam said Nope then Duffy mad a fart noise with his mouth then Sam said gaming better than reading  Duffy tried to snatch the controller but Sam got it back Duffy said well I think reading still better then Duffy put on Nanas glasses and aaa moko then Duffy Faded in to the game and Sam said Duffy were did you go then Sam saw Duffy on the screen Duffy said where am i he said Sam tried to tell Duffy was in the game it took a while before Duffy noticed he was in the game he said i'm in the Hall of mirrors and he said Sam were are you i'm at home in the lounge Sam replied then Duffy said am i on TV then he started waving to the Audience then Sam said we need the get you out of there then Duffy saw some blocks and he tried to get them then A computer Voice came out of the game and said choose your skin the there were three a pirate skin a Yellow fluffy skin and this funny looking skin that looked like a Brickish muscly looking one and it was funny and he choose it and he

Rugby World Cup 2019

In Te Manga we have been learning about the Rugby World Cup. My country is Scotland  and its my favourite country and I like that it has blue and white because they are one of my favourite colours. My other favourite country's is Jamaica, Argentina and Spain but Spain and Jamaica aren't in the RWC. I wish they were there. I want to go to Scotland one day, the main food in Scotland is something called HAGGIS, it looks weird but I think Scottish people like it.

Yesterday we had a dress up day and it was a RWC dress up and I dressed up in blue and white cause I was Scotland, our class looked really cool.

Safety tips. If there is thunder do not look at it because it can blind you for a little bit of time. If you are playing outside and there is lightning  run to the nearest house and take cover but if it takes a while and it is just in the cloud run as fast as you can to your house go inside and stay inside.    

NZ Playhouse - Second Draft

The Hare and the Tortoise 

This morning we were entertained by the fantastic NZ playhouse. The actors were piped piper, hare, ginger bread man , humpty dumpty and tortoise. They were funny as at the start they told us that we could talk in the show because in other shows we can't talk. but when they do this thing when they cross there arms then we be as quit as we can as fast as we can Everyone was laughing because they were they were trying to make a finish line for the race in the show they made it but it then it kept falling apart the show is about a hare who's really mean and this ginger bread man try's to stop the hare from being mean but the hare keeps calling the ginger man biscuit boy and then then the ginger bread man called the hare a rabbit but they keep fighting and when the hare left the.Tortoise came around the set and then the hare came back after the ginger bread man and the tortoise stopped talking then the hare and the ginger bread man
had a arm reseal and no one won so it was a tie and the tortoise and the ginger bread man started training the tortoise and when the hare and the ginger bread man were doing there arm reseal they were talking And said the tortoise could beat the mean hare. The hare laughed and said that tortoise will never beat me in a race i'm to speedy for that tortoise and the tortoise won.

  

The Great Reading Adventure

Last Friday was our assembly it was called the Great Reading Adventure. I was a SUPERHERO. I was BLACK PANTHER. I forgot my mask and my suit but my good friend Millan brought his mask. He didn't bring his suit but it was OK because Whaea Deb had a black t-shirt and I was wearing some black pants so my costume was sorted. All the other superheroes were ready too and we were on as soon as Maui and the Sun and his brothers were off. We were fierce and not scared at all and we were telling jokes like "what's a superheros favourite drink? PUNCH." Or "how does BATMAN'S mum  call him for dinner? Dina dina dina dina dina dina dina dina BATMAN!!!" Then the nonfiction group were up next and they were telling the audience about real things about the EARTH and other non fictional things. Then the next group were Harry Potter's. They were telling everyone about the boy whose  a WIZARD, he spent his life saving the world from Voldemort, the evil wizard. Then we were doing the DUFFY SONG. We were having heaps of FUN!!! We were doing heaps of Duffy dances it was real FUNNY doing our dances. I was embarrassed when my sister Eva saw me dancing.Then we were finished I was so happy that I didn't have to dance anymore.I was so relieved and before when we were practising I was so happy when we were doing the Duffy song because there were no people and I wasn’t scared at all. Finally Duffy, who was Arahia  said "SIR can you hand out the certificates?" Then sir handed out the certificates and then everyone left after the certificates were handed out.
